Consignment Release Permit (CPIP) service enables you to obtain an import permit from Dubai Municipality to release consumer product consignments imported for the purpose of the local market, non-commercial use, or re-export through the UAE’s ports, after ensuring the safety and conformity of the product with the adopted health and safety standards and requirements prior to their entry to the Emirate of Dubai.
The Consignment Release Permit (CRP) is a document issued by the Dubai Customs in collaboration with the Dubai Municipality to authorize the release of imported consignments into the Dubai market. The CRP is a crucial document for businesses involved in international trade as it ensures that imported goods comply with the regulations set by the Dubai Municipality and the UAE government.
The CRP is part of the Cargo Clearance and Release System (CCRS) which was introduced by the Dubai Customs to facilitate trade and ensure compliance with regulations. The CCRS is an online platform that allows businesses to submit applications for import clearance, and it provides a single point of contact for all government agencies involved in the clearance process.
The CRP is issued by the Customs Product Inspection Department (CPID) of the Dubai Municipality. APPLYING FOR THE CONSUMER PRODUCTS IMPORT AND RE-EXPORT PERMIT (CPIP)
This Consignment Release Permit (CPIP) service enables the customer to request for Import, The Importer (Consignee) draft an application for his new consignment. During this process, the consignee fills all the required data including all items in the consignment (Direct through the system or using an excel sheet template). When the consignment arrives at the port of entry and cleared from customs, the consignee attaches a bill of entry to the drafted application, submit and Pay for the application. Back-end officers would review the request and send a notification to the consignee if the consignment required for inspection. Below mentioned are the few steps that need to be followed for the application of CPIP:

2.Products intended for the local market must be registered in the Montaji system in 두바이 지자체 before applying for the import service.
3.재수출 또는 비상업적 용도의 제품은 서비스를 신청하기 전에 Montaji 시스템에 등록되어야 합니다.
4. 항공 화물 위탁은 항상 (1) 컨테이너가 있는 위탁으로 간주됩니다.
5. 제품이 등록되지 않고 채택된 건강 및 안전 표준 및 요구 사항을 준수하지 않아 재수출되어야 하는 경우 위탁이 거부됩니다.
6. 화물은 채택된 보건 및 안전 표준 및 요구 사항에 부합하는지 확인하기 위해 통관항에서 물리적 검사를 받아야 합니다.
7.The consignment would be released to the company’s warehouse in Dubai if the products are not accessible for inspection at the port of entry on the condition that the company provides an undertaking for detention until the completion of the inspection and issuance of the permit.
8.재수출을 목적으로 수입된 화물은 출고일로부터 6개월 이내에 재수출되어야 합니다.
