In addition to registering with ESMA, manufacturers or importers may also need to register their products with other regulatory agencies in the UAE. For example, food contact materials that come into direct contact with food must be registered with the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP), while food packaging materials must be registered with the Dubai Municipality.
